s a native Charlottean and a second-generation builder and developer, Chuck Starnes has witnessed firsthand Charlotte’s transformation from a small textile and banking hub into one of the country’s top residential and commercial real-estate markets. With deep experience in all aspects of commercial, residential and mixed-use construction, Chuck worked in his family’s business, Thurman Starnes Company, before forming Talon, a construction company specializing in inline and freestanding commercial construction.
